Personally, I feel that Moriarty’s novels are hard to categorize (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing!). So, what genre does Liane Moriarty’s work fall into? According to the Washington Post, Liane Moriarty’s books are categorized as “women’s fiction”. She knows that her strength lies in her characters. While the build-up to it is thrilling enough, it can feel a little anti-climactic if you go in with that pre-conceived notion. ![]() A lot of her work is based on unveiling a secret towards the end of the book. Even though Liane has a talent for creating suspense, I wouldn’t put her in the thriller category. After reading a few of her books, I agree. ![]() A recent article on Shondaland will tell you that Liane Moriarty does not want to be called a thriller writer. ![]()
